How to Rescue & Care for Dino Kid

1 · Rescue Dino Kid

    Upgrade your Campfire

    Dino Kid’s cave appears once your Campfire reaches Level 2-3. Check the Missing Kid Locations board for the red arrow.

    Defeat the guardians

    Five 5 red-collared wolves guard the cave. Use a spear or revolver and kite them one at a time.

  3. 3

    Grab the Red Key

    The last wolf drops the Red Key — dropped by the last red-collared wolf. Use it to open the gate.

  4. 4

    Befriend Dino Kid

    Enter the cave, find the pink tent, interact and choose Befriend. He joins your camp instantly.

  5. 5

    Claim the bonus

    Befriending grants a permanent +2 Maximum Survival Days (instant).

Keep his Hunger bar filled every night

2 · Keep him fed

After Dino Kid joins your camp, monitor his Hunger bar each night and feed him any food item before ending the day. Good options include Hearty Stew, Steak, Cake, Carrot and Apple. Keeping him fed is what lets him level up.

3 · Level him up (Clue Board)

Return his lost belongings from the Clue Board for verified EXP. The Crayon alone reaches Level 4.
